The Republic of New York is a Micronation Separatist Movement. It was founded on September 18th 2022. The Republic of New York in the past dealt with lots of opposition to the micronation. However it has been growing faster in territory as it gained more members around December of 2022 as the idea started becoming popular in a school in michigan. The Republic of New York currently has territory of 5.72 Sq. Miles and a population of 613. This consist of mostly people from the school. The Republic of New York is headquartered in Michigan with colonies from New York, Pennsylvania, Islands in Canadian Waters, and Antarctica colonies.
The Republic of New York is a Progressive Democracy as it is still developing laws but most of the system is setup. The Government is runned by BirdsAreCool#5462 as the President and Dogcraft#3460 as the Vice-President. The President being the highest rank having the ablity to Veto any laws. However Assembly can still over ride this dicussion with exemption of wars or security crisies. Presidents usually serve 4 year terms and can rerun for election up to 5 times with expections during a war, and Political Unrest. The Assembly has power to reject any laws the House of Representative along with voting people out of power.
For most of the country it is considered landlocked as there is no lakes, River or anything else near it. It borders the United States, But it has plans for more expansion of territory soon. In the Republic of New York Provinces (Colonies) do have power but it is limited and they are not allowed to secede as any attempt will mean a war with the R.N.Y

The shield with the mountains crescent with the star is meant to represent the moon rising over the entire republic. The swords represent all the battles New York fought for its independence. The maple leaf represents the maple trees of the Republic of New York, waves represent the lakes, rivers, and ocean shores of the Republic of New York.
