The Republic of New York History
The Idea of a united New York State has existed since the 1760s back then as a state. It would have consisted of Erie, PA, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. However, the states were separate from each other. But they all had a similar cause including Michigan. In the 1970s ideas of New York Independence grew more under progress, unity, and freedom. In the 2020s it started getting unstable and unfair in the USA along with division growing. Now we want independence and a new country that will solve everyone's problems even if it is a micronation
The Concept
Predecessor State
The earliest form of the Republic of New York as a micronation was created on the 24th of April 2022. The micronation was called the Independent Republic of New York or IRNY for short. The nation was made up of 2 territories which were then divided into cities or towns. The largest city and capital city at the time was East York. It consisted of 9 people at its peak and primary currency was Chuckbucks. The Independent Republic of New York remained relatively throughout its short life. It was tightly controlled by Nafe A. and was known as a unstable micronation. It dissolved on the 28th of August. Later a new successor state the Republic of New York would emerge from its land.

Successor State
The modern form of the Republic of New York declared its Independence on the 18th of September 2022. The Republic of New York consists of 7 Counties, 3 Territories, and 1 Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 2.81 sq. mi or (7.22 sq. km). It has a population of 741 people, with its capital being located in the city of Northwest Warren. Their largest city is in Monticello, and the modern Republic of New York is considered as a democracy. It has relations with other 20+ different micronations with the TDC Empire largely being considered its largest ally. The Republic of New York is a well organized micronation compared to its predecessor state. Their have multiple events that have happened in the Republic of New York such as the Woodland Wars, and the East Macomb Power outages. The current economy of the Republic of New York is becoming rapidly developed with 2 companies currently in the Republic of New York.
